Fort McDowell Road and Mohave Road Intersection Improvement

Project #: TT0721

Project Description

This project is located within the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (FMYN) and is in response to a request from the FMYN to address traffic delays for vehicles entering Fort McDowell Road from Mohave Road. The objective is to design an intersection control that includes two-lane approaches (one left and one right) to Mohave Road from Fort McDowell Road.

ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) facilities do not exist within the rural environment, and no new ADA facilities are proposed for this project. The intersection would be designed to design capacity anticipated to 2050.

The project will be constructed within the existing right-of-way with no change to roadway capacity or alignment.
