Cotton Lane and Granite Vista Loop North

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation is planning improvements to the intersection of Cotton Lane and Granite Vista Loop North in the West Valley.

A 2020 traffic impact study determined the need for intersection improvements, including a traffic signal, to accommodate increased development in the area.

Improvements include: 

• Signalization at the intersection of Cotton Lane and Granite Vista Loop North.
• ADA compliant curbs and sidewalks.
• Curb and gutter repair.
• Signage and striping.

Where: Work will be conducted on Cotton Lane between Granite Vista Loop North and Olive Avenue.

This scoping phase is currently identifying the infrastructure improvements (right-of-way costs, utility relocation, etc.) needed to install an intersection control device. Final design and construction are currently not programmed.
