McKellips Road, SR 101 to Alma School Road

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will begin Phase Two work of the McKellips Road project in December 2024 through late 2025 on the Salt River-Pima Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) along East McKellips Road from the SR101L to North Alma School Road.

Phase Two will focus on above-ground improvements - installation of new pavement, curb, and sidewalk, and completing groundwork for street lights. A raised roadway median island will also be built along East McKellips Road with improvements made to the intersections at North 92nd Street, North Dobson Road, North Longmore Road and North Alma School Road.

The project is in cooperation with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC).
