Phoenix Skyline West Pavement Rehabilitation

Project Description

Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will be performing a roadway rehabilitation project on selected roadways in the Buckeye area to extend the life of the road and provide an improved driving surface for vehicles. Crews will be milling and replacing asphaltic concrete pavement along several sections in the central Buckeye area. Work will begin on Friday, May 29, 2026 and continue through the end of July 2026.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a flagging operation, and it is advised to allow extra time for travel in the area. Access to properties will be maintained at all times during construction.

The project includes:

  • Milling/removing old asphaltic concrete pavement selected locations.
  • Installing new asphaltic concrete pavement overlay.
  • Cleaning up the work zone and other miscellaneous work.

Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone.

Work Schedule:

Where: Select roadways between Durango Street, and Lower Buckeye Road,

and Watson and Rainbow roads in the Buckeye area.

When: Friday, May 29, 2026 through late July 2026.

Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No weekend or holiday work is anticipated.
