Dell Webb Boulevard, Bell Road to 99th Avenue Pedesterian Facilities

Project Description

The Maricopa Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will be repairing and replacing sidewalks along Del Webb and Boswell boulevards, installing handrails and ADA ramps in Sun City. Del Webb Boulevard and Boswell Boulevard were constructed in the late 1960’s and the existing pedestrian curb ramps and driveways are outdated.

This project includes:

  • Removing and replacing the sidewalk at Del Webb and Boswell. boulevards
  • Installing handrails.
  • Installing ADA ramps.

During the project, it is recommended that drivers allow for extra time for travel due to lane restrictions in place to accommodate sidewalk repairs. A lane closure will be in effect along Del Webb and Boswell boulevards during work hours. Please watch for work crews, reduce speeds and follow all traffic control signs.
