Trash Rack Installation, North 137th Avenue just south of West Glendale Avenue

Project Description

Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) crews will install two trash racks at the inlet and outlet of the water pipe that runs underneath North 137th Avenue just south of West Glendale Avenue, in the Luke Air Force Base area, starting Monday, December 2nd, through Friday, December 6th, 2024.

Trash racks are installed to prevent floating and submerged debris from entering stormwater systems while maintaining water flow and are the result of concerns regarding misuse of and damage to the water pipe. During construction, restrictions may be in place in the immediate area to accommodate work. Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone.
