Project #: MP2501

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) willy apply a preservative seal to roads in the Anthem/New River, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, and Chandler Heights area.

The project will include:

  • Applying preservative seal to existing asphalt concrete pavement.
  • Striping work within 72 hours of preservative seal.
  • Installing pavement markings.
  • Other miscellaneous work and cleanup.

The pavement preservation project will help extend the life of the roadway, renew the surface, seal small cracks, and protect the road from UV rays. One lane will be open to traffic with a pilot car to lead drivers through the construction zone. Access to properties will be maintained during construction, however there may be a delay while equipment passes driveways and roads. Crews will provide access to driveways and roads as quickly as possible. Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone.
