Bruner Road Bridge over Buckeye Canal

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is planning improvements and preventive maintenance on the Bruner Road bridge over the Buckeye canal. This bridge work is expected to last approximately one month.

A summary of the work:

  • The bridge will have the asphalt deck removed and replaced with ultra high-performance concrete.
  • The concrete approach slabs will have an epoxy overlay added to preserve the bridge.
  • The project will include surface preparation of the existing approach slabs and girders.
  • New pavement markings and striping. 


Schedules are subject to change for reasons beyond MCDOT's control including weather, equipment failure, illness or other circumstances.
