Project Description

Roadway segments in Sun City West, 5.5 miles total, are recommended by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Pavement Management Branch for pavement maintenance.

Regular pavement maintenance protects MCDOT's assets by maintaining structural integrity, improving rideability and safety, and ensuring longevity of the roadway.

The project includes:

1. Replacing the existing pavement with new pavement material and providing the public with a smoother riding surface.
2. Maintaining the structural integrity of MCDOT's roadway.
3. Upgrading the existing pedestrian ramps as needed to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Project area:

Approximately R.H. Johnson Boulevard to Echo Mesa Drive, and Stardust Boulevard south to Trail Ridge Drive.
