Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has completed pavement replacement work on 5.5 miles of residential roadway in Sun City West.

Regular pavement maintenance protects MCDOT's assets by maintaining structural integrity, improving rideability and safety, and ensuring longevity of the roadway.

The project included:

• Removing the existing asphaltic concrete pavement, re-grading the existing aggregate base, and installing new asphaltic concrete pavement. 
• Removing and constructing new roadway signage and pavement markings where needed.
• Replacing or repairing sidewalks as needed.
