McKellips Road, SR 101 to Alma School Road

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) continues construction of the McKellips Road improvement project located on the Salt River-Pima Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) with Phase Two of the two-phase project beginning in early December through late 2025. The project will be underway on East McKellips Road from North Alma School Road to the SR101L near the Scottsdale border. Phase Two will include improvements to intersections, a raised median to separate east and westbound travel, and installation of new pavement, curb, and sidewalks. Phase Two also will include utility installation for future roadway lighting to increase nighttime visibility.

Road restrictions may be in place to accommodate work. Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone
