Following a traffic study, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation determined a traffic signal was warranted for installation at the intersection of Meeker Boulevard and Echo Mesa Drive.
The goal of the project is to help improve the level of service for the intersection.

Meeker Boulevard and Echo Mesa Drive
The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will be installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Meeker Boulevard and Echo Mesa Drive in Sun City West beginning Monday, April 10, 2023. Work is expected to last through June 2023.
The project will also upgrade Americans with Disabilities (ADA) curb ramps at the intersection to meet current standards. Access to properties will be maintained at all times with some sidewalk restrictions in place as needed.
We ask that you watch for restricted lanes, obey traffic control signs, and slow down while traveling in the work zone.
Work Schedule
When: April 10, 2023 through June 2023
Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday (Except Holidays)
Nightwork as needed
