Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will be performing pavement preservation work near Litchfield Park to extend the life of the roadway, renew the surface, and seal cracks using a topical asphalt rejuvenator. MCDOT advises drivers to plan ahead for temporary daytime lane closures and possible delays in both directions on roads undergoing construction.

Flagging operations will be in place to help direct traffic while work is underway. Construction begins on Monday, May 4, 2026.

The project includes:

• Applying topical application of asphalt rejuvenator.
• Cleaning up the work zone and other miscellaneous work.

Please allow for extra time for travel as there can be delays during construction. Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone.
