Crack Seal Preservation, Northwest and Western Maricopa County

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) completed pavement preservation work in northwestern and western Maricopa County.


Previously completed work:

  • On select roads between between Glendale Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
  • Country Club Road, Palmeras Drive, 114th Avenue, Willowbrook Drive, Manzanita Drive, Calico Drive, Palmeras Lane, Conestoga Dr, Terrace Lane, Mockingbird Drive, Granada Drive.
  • Select Roads in Sun City.
  • Citrus Point neighborhood roadways in the Surprise area.
  • Peak View Road, 299th Avenue, 239th Avenue, Patton Place Estates, Peak View Ranch Unit 1, Via del Sol Estates Unit 1 roadways in Wittmann;
  • select roadways in Sun City West;
  • select roadways in Sun City;
  • Citrus Point neighborhood roadways in the Surprise area;
  • Dreaming Summit, Luke Field Homes, Luke Ranch Estates, Ranchos de Loma, Casitas Bonitas and Wigwam Creek South neighborhoods roadways in the Litchfield Park area;

**The project map will be updated to reflect current construction activity as work progresses**

The project includes:

  • Applying crack seal to existing asphalt concrete pavement.
  • Cleaning up the work zone and other miscellaneous work.

The pavement preservation project will help extend the life of the roadway, renew the surface and seal small cracks. During construction, road restrictions may be in place to accommodate work. Please watch for work crews, reduce speeds and obey all traffic control signs in the work zone.
