Hyder Road, County Limit to MP 22.5 Rehabilitation

Project #: TT0764

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is planning improvements to 2.5 miles of Hyder Road, between the County Limit and Milepost (MP) 22.5 in southwestern Maricopa County. Roadway evaluations have shown that the pavement condition at this location would benefit from full-depth reclamation and rehabilitation to improve the drivability and longevity of the road for the traveling public.

The anticipated improvements within the project limits include:

  • Constructing roadway improvements along Hyder Road between the County Limit and MP 22.5
  • Installing new asphaltic concrete pavement.
  • Finishing work with new striping and pavement markings.
  • Cleaning up the work zone, with related finishing work

While design and construction have not yet been programmed, you may see project personnel working within the project limits. Area parcel owners and businesses will be notified prior to the actual construction start date.
