Anthem Sidewalk Repairs, Gavilan Peak Parkway

Project Description

The Maricopa Department of Transportation (MCDOT) repaired and replaced segments of sidewalk along Gavilan Peak Parkway due to cracking. Several panels near the intersection of Gavilan Peak Parkway and Anthem Way were also repaired during the project.

This project included:

• Removed and replaced the sidewalk at Anthem Way and Gavilan Peak Parkway
• Closed the adjacent northbound traffic lane for the length of the project along Gavilan Peak Parkway
• Closed the sidewalk on the east side of Gavilan Peak Parkway from King Drive to Memorial Drive near Boulder Creek High School
• Cleaned up the work zone and other miscellaneous work

Construction Schedule: Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, through mid-to late September.
