Anthem Sidewalk Repairs, Gavilan Peak Parkway

Project Description

The Maricopa Department of Transportation (MCDOT) repaired and replaced segments of sidewalk along Gavilan Peak Parkway due to cracking. Several panels near the intersection of Gavilan Peak Parkway and Anthem Way were also repaired during the project.

This project included:

• Removing and replacing the sidewalk at Anthem Way and Gavilan Peak Parkway
• Closing the adjacent northbound traffic lane for the length of the project along Gavilan Peak Parkway
• Closing the sidewalk on the east side of Gavilan Peak Parkway from King Drive to Memorial Drive near Boulder Creek High School
• Cleaning up the work zone and other miscellaneous work

Where: Anthem way at Gavilan Peak Parkway, southwest corner. Multiple sidewalk panels on the east side of Gavilan Peak Parkway, between King Drive and Memorial Drive.

When: Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, through mid-to late September.

Weekdays, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
