Chip Seal Preservation: Williams Road, 87th to 89th Avenues

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has completed paving work on Williams Road from 87th to 89th avenues, aimed at reducing dust and improving the roadway surface for driving.

The project included:

• Preparing and smoothing the surface.
• Applying a double chip seal application on the existing roadway.
• Cleaning up the work zone and other miscellaneous tasks.

Pavement preservation projects such as this help extend the life of the roadway, renew the surface, seal cracks, and protect the road from UV rays.
