Shawnee Drive west of Dobson Road

Project Description

The goal of the project is to improve the roadway to make it easier for emergency services. Paving the end of Shawnee Drive will provide them with an efficient turnaround option at the end of the road, instead of having to back up toward Dobson Road.

Construction is tentatively planned for February 2025. Schedule is subject to change for reasons beyond MCDOT’s control, including weather, equipment failure, illness or other circumstances.
