Dry Well Installation, Fairview Street just east of 166th Street

Project #: MD2402

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is responding to residential and maintenance requests to alleviate ponding on Fairview Street, just east of 166th Street in Gilbert, and will be installing two dry wells on the southside shoulder at that location. Dry wells are underground structures that assist in drainage and help extend the life of the road.

The dry well installation will take place within the MCDOT right-of-way during weekdays, between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 through Tuesday, February 18th, 2025. No work is anticipated to take place during weekends or holidays.

During the project, occasional lane restrictions can be anticipated to allow for crews and equipment to perform the work. The immediate project area at the shoulder will be closed off at all hours during the project duration. Access to properties will be maintained at all times.

Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and restrictions and avoid areas restricted for construction.
