Crack Preservation Seal, Harquahala Valley and Wittmann

Project Description

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) advises drivers to plan ahead for daytime lane closures and possible delays in both directions in the Harquahala Valley area, beginning Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 through mid-December, 2024 for pavement preservation work. Work is expected to be in the Wittmann area beginning on Monday, December 9th, 2024 through early January, 2025 for pavement preservation work.

The project includes:

• Applying crack seal to existing asphalt concrete pavement.
• Other miscellaneous work and cleanup.

The pavement preservation project will help extend the life of the roadway, renew the surface and seal small cracks. During construction, road restrictions may be in place to accommodate work. Please watch for work crews, obey all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone.
